Let’s explore the equation when a=b and k is an integer.

The picture above is known as the N-Leaf Rose. In this case, n=1 and there is one leaf. Let’s look at other values for “k”.

From the movie above, we can see that "k" affects the number of leafs on the flower. When k=3, we have 3 leafs, etc.

Now let's look what happens when if our function used sine instead of cosine.

The graph above is simply rotated ninety degrees when our function is changed from cosine to sine.

Again, let’s see what happens when we change “k”.
